Early Years Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Early Years Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bright Horizons Quayside Day Nursery and Preschool.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, supporting the Chef in food preparation, and ensuring the well-being and safety of children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook healthy meals for children, adhering to dietary requirements and minimizing food waste.
- Assist the Chef in maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
- Support the team in promoting a positive and inclusive environment for children and staff.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role.
- Passion for nutrition and healthy eating.
- Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
