About the Role:
We are in search of a dedicated individual to collaborate with the Operations Manager in guiding and directly overseeing a support team in Fareham and surrounding services. The aim is to provide exceptional support that not only meets but surpasses the expectations of the individuals we serve.

Your role will involve being a model of excellence, ensuring that our customers are at the center of our efforts and that their needs are prioritized. It is essential to foster an environment where your team feels appreciated and supported, equipping them with a clear understanding of their responsibilities and the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.

Success in this position translates to individuals receiving top-notch support and leading fulfilling lives.

About the Candidate:

  • Proven management experience in adult care settings
  • Ability to collaborate with fellow Support Managers and Operations Managers
  • Proficient in IT
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in adult care
  • Capable of managing staff effectively, addressing staff issues in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Experience in delivering high-quality, personalized support within the Health and Social Care sector, along with the capability to inspire and lead a team to provide excellent services
  • Possession of a level 5 diploma in adult care or willingness to undertake this training
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, bank holidays, waking nights, or sleep-in duties as needed
  • Able to assist customers with their needs when required
  • Understanding of the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018 and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), with a commitment to confidentiality
