Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dental Officer to join our Public Dental Service in NHS Scotland. This is a senior clinical position that requires the delivery of patient-centered clinical dental care for various priority groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine general dental services to patients in described priority groups
  • Develop experience in areas of clinical interest within the Service
  • Work collaboratively with dedicated and highly qualified dental nurses
  • Contribute to the development of the Public Dental Service
Requirements
  • GDC registration as a dentist
  • Evidence of participation in postgraduate dental education
  • Successful listing with the Health Board
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resilience in challenging situations
