**Job Title:** Senior Wellbeing Manager
**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Senior Wellbeing Manager to join our team at Retirement Villages Group. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of our residents by leading the wellbeing team and promoting health and safety within the village.
Key Responsibilities:- **Lead the Emergency Response Service Team:** Respond to emergency calls within the village and deliver first aid where needed.
- **Promote Resident Health and Wellbeing:** Enhance the health and wellbeing of older people living within the village and help maintain independence and safety for residents.
- **Conduct Wellbeing Assessments:** Carry out wellbeing assessments for residents and enhance the current wellbeing service.
- **Audit Service Delivery:** Audit servicing delivery, report on the outcomes and impact of the service.
- **Manage Team Rota and Shift Patterns:** Manage the team rota and shift patterns to ensure provision is provided 24/7.
- **Monitor Emergency Call System:** Support monitoring of the emergency call system, report issues and faults to the village manager.
- **Conduct Wellbeing Baseline and Annual Assessments:** Conduct wellbeing baseline and annual assessments for residents as per the RVG policy.
- **Signpost to Healthcare Professionals:** Signpost to healthcare professionals, such as GPs and primary care services.
- **Provide Information and Awareness Sessions:** Provide information and awareness sessions about key health issues, such as osteoporosis, falls prevention, and heart disease.
- **Establish Wellbeing Focus Groups:** Establish wellbeing focus groups to meet on a monthly basis where appropriate.
- **Ensure Health and Safety Compliance:** Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety in your location adhere to RVG's Health and Safety policies and requirements.
- **Emergency First Aid Qualified:** Emergency first aid qualified and able to get to the floor unaided and unassisted; confident in administering CPR until further help arrives.
- **Significant Experience in Managing Older People:** Significant experience in managing older people.
- **Experience or Knowledge of Primary Care and Referral to Primary Care:** Experience or knowledge of primary care and referral to primary care.
- **Experience of Managing a Team and Organising Staffing Rotas:** Experience of managing a team and organising staffing rotas.
- **Ability to Analyse Risk and Respond Appropriately:** Ability to analyse risk and respond appropriately, seeking support as necessary.
