Job OverviewAs an Early Childhood Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in our nursery setting. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging educational activities.
- Providing high-quality care and supervision to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Supporting children's learning through interactive and play-based activities.
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Assisting with personal care routines and promoting independence.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers about children's progress and development.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an early years setting.
- Relevant childcare qualifications, such as a CACHE Level 2 or 3 diploma.
- Experience in providing personal care for children, including toileting and feeding.
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and parents.
- A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- The ability to manage a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
