We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool. As a qualified Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work when you want, while enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.
About the Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will be responsible for supporting our nursery colleagues in delivering high-quality care and education to our children. This will involve engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Support nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Engage children in play and activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies
