Financial Accountant Opportunity at Agrial Fresh Produce

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Agrial Fresh Produce in Lichfield. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Fixed Asset Register, including maintenance, reconciliation, and monitoring of spend.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including prepayments, accruals, payroll controls, and tax.
  • Prepare journals, including payroll, accruals, prepayments, and other financial transactions.
  • Provide ad-hoc support in areas such as expenses, bank reconciliations, bank payments, and data preparation for group reporting.
  • Support the payroll lead in the accurate and timely production of BUUK payrolls and associated reporting.
Requirements:
  • Experience in an accounting or finance function.
  • High understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Desire to innovate and learn, with a goal to move onto professional accreditation (ACCA, CIMA).
