We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Functional Skills English and Maths Tutor at HMP Foston Hall. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training to small groups of prison-based learners, helping them to develop their skills, knowledge, and behaviours.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Functional Skills qualifications to learners, working closely with them to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement effective training plans to meet the needs of learners.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to learners, ensuring they receive the highest level of support.
- Use a range of training methods to engage learners and help them reach their potential.
- Level 3 Maths and English, or equivalent qualification.
- Substantial experience in delivering training, preferably in a prison or education setting.
- Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners.
- Desirable: teaching or assessing qualification.
