Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor

Location: Derbyshire - Centre based

Salary: up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Duties:

Deliver high-quality training sessions for Functional Skills English and Maths within a classroom environment.

Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required, to ensure engaging and effective learning experiences.

Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners, including identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.

The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and adapting quickly to learners' needs.

Essential Criteria:

Must have experience of delivering Functional Skills and/or GCSE Maths and English.

Must have experience of delivering training to small groups of learners.

Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).

Hold a Maths and/or English level 2 / equivalent.

Demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
