Project Worker Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Worker to join our Thurrock Rough Sleepers Outreach team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the needs of customers and develop support plans to help them achieve their goals
  • Provide day-to-day support to customers, including cooking and cleaning
  • Offer advice on fulfilling tenancy conditions and managing finances
  • Encourage social inclusion and help customers build their confidence and resilience
  • Work with statutory and non-statutory agencies to support customers and promote safe working practices
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
