We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Lancaster. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our nursery setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons to meet the needs of SEN pupils.
- Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for children with SEN.
- Provide one-to-one support to children with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with other teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning environment.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a calm and organized classroom environment, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all pupils.
- Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a nursery or primary school setting.
- Qualifications in teaching or a related field, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
