Casual Early Years Educator Position

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Early Years Educator to join our team at Hermitage Nursery School, a part of Storal, a group of nurseries across England.

About the Role:

  • Provide cover as and when needed by the nursery for periods of holiday, sickness, and supporting with vacancy gaps.
  • Work in partnership with the existing educator team to create an inspiring working environment and to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
  • Encourage a love of learning through high-quality teaching and ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification within early years preferred, however unqualified Educators will also be considered if you can demonstrate the necessary values and enthusiasm for working within this environment.
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator or having worked with children under the age of 5 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.

What We Offer:

  • Rates of pay: From £11.50 - £13.28 – qualified Educators – dependent on qualifications and experience.
  • From £8.60 - £11.44 – unqualified Educators – as per NMW rate and demonstrable skills and experience.
