At Netomnia, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer Installation/Service to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer Installation/Service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and service fibre cable to build specification and Openreach Pia policy.
- Splice fibre within Netomnia Fibre Network to the highest standard.
- Manage tools issued and vehicle assigned to you as per our vehicle policy.
- Complete service works within an agreed SLA (24hrs).
- Follow service procedures, splice fibre, and test at multiple points throughout the service visit.
- Experience working in a similar role, working on or on behalf of the Openreach Network.
- Ability to conduct risk assessment and hazard identification, with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety practices.
- Demonstrable experience and a proven track record working in a networking engineering environment.
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
- Ability to foster excellent working relationships within your team, with your manager, and with other teams within the company, with an excellent customer service attitude.
- Must hold a full UK driving Licence for minimum 12 months.
- IPAF 1b, NRSWA unit 2, Splicing and testing.
- Have telecommunications experience or transferable skills.
