About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Advisor to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering contracts in execution, preparing tracking and reporting, and advising on contractual risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer contracts in execution in accordance with best practice and company procedures
  • Prepare tracking and reporting to ensure that the commercial and contractual requirements of contracts are met
  • Draft all contractual and commercial correspondence
  • Advise on contractual risks and propose mitigation actions
  • Negotiate contractual instruments with counterparties
  • Support project management teams in the determination and management of claims
  • Support procurement function in the review and management of subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Assist in the resolution of legal and contractual matters
  • Regularly report to the company and corporate management on contract management activities

Requirements:

  • Experience of offshore projects and contracts
  • Knowledge of industry standard contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO, IOCs')
  • Proven experience of reviewing and advising on tendering contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player attitude
  • International mobility
