Opportunity for a Flood Risk Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk Consultant to join our Water Environment team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing flood risk assessments and hydrological modeling solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead flood risk assessments and hydrological modeling projects
  • Collaborate with clients and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Manage and coordinate project finances, including budgeting and fee proposals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Water Environment team
Requirements:
  • Strong background in hydrological and hydraulic modeling, with experience in Flood Modeler Pro or TUFLOW
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate projects, including budgeting and fee proposals
  • Strong understanding of relevant policies and procedures, including the Environment Agency and Lead Local Flood Authorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
