About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Pipeline Lead to join our team at Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our software development pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of software development pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of software artifacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize pipeline improvements and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
  • Work closely with the software engineering team to ensure seamless integration of pipeline changes.
  • Measure and analyze pipeline performance to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software development pipelines, with a strong focus on DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Proven track record of leading projects and teams to deliver high-quality software artifacts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and other DevOps tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Highly proficient in programming languages such as Python, Bash, and C++.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and containerization.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and practices.
