Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

ATA Recruitment is in search of a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that student accommodations, including communal areas and private studios, are maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will encompass adhering to all health and safety regulations while delivering exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various maintenance tasks including plumbing, painting, decorating, and joinery for communal areas and studios as needed.
  • Manage grounds maintenance where applicable.
  • Oversee the ongoing management of building facilities, executing tasks personally or coordinating with external contractors as necessary.
  • Maintain the property in accordance with brand standards, which includes painting, flooring, and joinery work.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations when addressing maintenance issues.
  • Conduct routine testing, maintenance, and risk assessments for all aspects of the property.
  • Administer the annual maintenance calendar and manage all service requests efficiently.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service as part of the property management team, including managing permits and contractors on-site.
  • Assist the site team with regular compliance checks and maintain maintenance inventory.

Compensation Package

  • Competitive salary of £28K
  • 20 days of annual leave plus 8 public holidays
  • Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • All necessary equipment will be provided
