Your Role

As a Trainee Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our fibre coordinators, shadowing their role to gain valuable experience and knowledge. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with the planning and scheduling of telecoms works, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Updating trackers and other IT systems on a daily basis, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Learning the Streetworks process, understanding the requirements of a works instruction/job pack.
  • Participating in meetings with clients to understand job priorities and requirements.
  • Collecting information from site and reporting on timesheets and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate financial management.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to resolve delays and disruptions to the program, ensuring project success.
  • Working closely with both office and field staff, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the workstack and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Creating and updating SLDs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Performing other administrative duties as required, supporting the team in achieving project goals.

Requirements

  • No prior experience is required, but a keen aptitude to learn and adapt to new situations is essential.
  • Effective and clear communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for success in this role.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office packages, with a strong understanding of IT systems and software.
