Opportunity Overview:
Emponics is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to enhance our established Capital business, focusing on planned and refurbishment contracts within the housing sector.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be actively involved in the tendering, estimating, and measurement processes on-site. Your contributions will span from initial estimates to final accounts, significantly impacting our profitability and commercial success.

Key Duties Include:
1. Managing the financial and technical elements of contracts across various work streams, including procurement, invoicing, payments, cash flow, and cost control.
2. Striving to minimize costs while maximizing value to enhance profit margins.
3. Collaborating with direct labor and subcontractors, ensuring all work issued meets labor targets for agreed profit performance.
4. Building and maintaining relationships with the workforce, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
5. Producing monthly contract valuations to compare actual deliverables against projected budgets.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, along with a genuine ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment.

Essential Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a similar commercial or quantity surveying role, particularly in planned refurbishment environments.
2. Demonstrated ability to minimize costs while maximizing value, profit, and cash flow.
3. Proficient in IT and Microsoft Excel.
4. Experience working with direct labor and subcontract procurement.
