About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Newrest. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for supporting our operations by completing assigned tasks in a timely manner while ensuring quality and meeting targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and inspecting products for quality, quantity, date, and temperature.
  • Placing products in the correct warehouse or departmental location.
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and rotating stock to maximize shelf life.
  • Conducting weekly stock counts for ordering purposes.
  • Ensuring compliance with COSHH and HACCP regulations.
  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Recording and reporting food waste and breaks.
  • Interacting with colleagues, customers, and clients in a professional manner.
  • Complying with unit corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Forklift license.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team player with excellent organizational skills.
  • Good level of English language proficiency.
