Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to thrive in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned learning activities and support individual learning needs.
- Lead small groups and provide guidance to teaching staff.
- Develop and implement behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Provide a nurturing and patient approach to support the individual needs of students.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working with children with SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Strong behavior management skills and ability to develop strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
