Veolia WTS is seeking a Senior Project Engineering Specialist

The Senior Project Engineering Specialist will oversee the design and implementation of asset frameworks and water treatment initiatives. We are in search of a proactive and inquisitive individual who possesses a keen interest in operational efficiency, emphasizing a service-oriented design philosophy that prioritizes rapid execution, quality assurance, and budget adherence. Adaptability and exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial, as the role may involve supporting various functions during peak periods. Ensuring customer satisfaction remains our utmost priority.

In this role, you will primarily operate from the Veolia WTS office, engaging in office tasks, collaborating at the Plant, working on the shop floor, and participating in site visits and client meetings as required.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct electrical and control systems design for global water treatment projects
  • Support initiatives related to Bridge, Complex Mobile, and BOO projects
  • Guarantee timely execution of designs within financial constraints
  • Familiarity with CE marking, UKCA certifications, and NAM standards (UL and CSA)
  • Expertise in Electrical/Control panel design, PLC systems (Allan Bradley and Siemens), commissioning, and start-up processes
  • Collaborate effectively with suppliers, fabrication units, and product management teams
  • Conduct HAZOPs and product safety evaluations
  • Perform site visits for commissioning and troubleshooting tasks

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Engineering/Science or a related technical discipline
  • Proven experience in water treatment and electrical design
  • Certifications in electrical design and installation practices
  • Understanding of water processing, electrical control, and mechanical design principles
  • Experience with PLC design and integration (Allan Bradley and Siemens)
  • Prior experience in engineering design and water treatment sectors
  • Strong project management capabilities with a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and computer proficiency
