Your Role: Metering Business Development Manager

We're looking for a talented and ambitious Metering Business Development Manager to join our rapidly growing business. You will be accountable for all contractual and commercial issues within the Yu Smart business, including specifically control of contracts with energy suppliers for metering.

Develop ways for the company to grow and find new opportunities, to ensure we are maximising our value to the Yü Group of companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the growth of new opportunities for the SMART metering business
  • Negotiate and draft changes to the contract specification and documentation
  • Act as the key focal point for all commercial issues with the client; achieving successful outcomes to commercial matters whilst engaging in a constructive and collaborative manner with the client to:
    • Support Client initiatives and projects.
    • Resolve contractual issues and disputes.
    • Ensure a clear, mutual understanding of the contractual requirements is established.
    • Lead contract negotiation processes with client commercial interfacing operations and client commercial team as required.
    • Ensure the timely provision of client commercial reports.
  • Review of contract terms and conditions for any new business opportunities and contract variations identifying any key commercial risks and preparing legal summary as part of tender sign-off process.
  • Ensure adherence to contract obligations
About You:

We are looking for an experienced business development leader from the Metering industry with a proven track record of success.

  • A strong willingness to learn and develop within the business.
  • You will be driven by success, numerically curious and have excellent attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
