Shift Pattern: 4 days per week, 19:00 - 07:00 - Overtime & Call Out Available

As an HGV Technician, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep and repair of our fleet and waste management equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and DVSA standards.

Your responsibilities will include performing scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections to uphold Biffa's operator's licence obligations. Our diverse fleet ranges from light commercial vehicles to 44-ton articulated trucks, providing ample opportunities for skill enhancement and professional growth.

We welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in roles such as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, HGV Technician, or HGV Mechanic.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified with a level 3 HGV / PSV apprenticeship qualification, City and Guilds Qualification, or NVQ Qualification.
  • Technician level experience.
  • A valid car/van driving licence is required.
  • An HGV licence is desirable.
  • IRTEC Qualification is a plus.
