Job Description

**Technical Compliance Officer**

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Compliance Officer to join our team at Manucomm Recruitment. As a Technical Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the Quality Management system and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Management System: Develop and maintain the on-site quality management system to ensure compliance with company standards and BRC/GFSI accreditation.
  • Procedure Development: Write and assist with training new procedures in line with BRC and customer expectations.
  • Audit Preparation: Ensure the site is audit-ready and assist with BRC, Organic, Halal, and customer audits.
  • Customer and Supplier Liaison: Liaise with customers and suppliers on new label projects.
  • HACCP Team Member: Be a key part of the HACCP team, maintaining the site HACCP system for both products manufactured on-site and those supplied by third parties.
  • Technical Input: Provide technical input and communicate the investigation and resolution of product non-conformities.
  • New Product Development: Assist with new part setup and lead with NPD and Process Development on new and existing products.
  • Goods In Assistance: Assist with Goods In when required.
  • Culture Improvement: Lead on improving the Technical and Food Safety Culture on the site.
  • Shelf Life Sampling: Manage shelf life sampling, product reviews, and benchmarking.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience of working within a BRC accredited site.
  • BRC Site Accreditation: Experience of BRC site accreditation audits and customer visits/audits.
  • Labelling Regulation: Labelling regulation experience would be beneficial.
