Facilities Maintenance Operative

Are you a skilled tradesperson with experience in basic electrical, plumbing, and maintenance tasks? We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our team at HMP Whitemoor, a High Security & Adult/Male prison.
We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS. As a Facilities Maintenance Operative, you will work alongside facilities management professionals to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the prison.
You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work. You will also be required to work with hand and power tools, and to maintain a high level of health and safety awareness.
