Job Title: Financial Services Assistant

Job Summary:

Poole Townsend Estates Ltd, a reputable and established firm offering comprehensive legal, financial, and property services, is seeking a skilled Financial Services Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the Accounts Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger.
  • Process transactions, reconcile statements, and perform other accounting tasks as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry, filing, and other clerical duties.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks, maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information with discretion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including colleagues and management.

Requirements:

  • Recognized accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT level 3/ILFM or equivalent) or working towards one.
  • Previous experience in an accounts office or similar environment.
  • Strong Microsoft IT skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and internet banking systems.
  • Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

Part-time working hours are flexible, with the option to work 9am-1pm Monday to Friday, 1pm-5pm Monday to Thursday, or 12:30pm-4:30pm Friday. Additional hours may be required to cover holidays and sickness.
