Costello Medical is a rapidly growing global healthcare agency specializing in medical communications, market access, and health economic and outcomes research. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scientific Communications Specialist Intern.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of medical education slides, systematic searches of medical literature, and clinical trial manuscripts.
- Support the assimilation of clinical and cost-effectiveness evidence to support HTA submissions to NICE.
- Contribute to the development of clinical trial manuscripts and medical communications materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of healthcare policy, market access, and health economics.
- Undergraduate degree in a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1 or expected 2.1).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English, and the ability to communicate scientific material clearly in both written and oral form for a variety of audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan your own work effectively, with a proactive approach to task prioritization and time management.
- The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong self-motivation, self-awareness, and willingness to learn, with a desire to contribute to the company above and beyond project work.
- Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A genuine interest in healthcare and an eagerness to learn about new areas of science.

BenefitsThe stipend for interns is £2,150 per calendar month, and you will be entitled to statutory holiday. We provide exceptional internal training, opportunities to work on pro bono and charitable projects, and regular company-funded social activities.
