Radiographer (Bank) - Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health Tees Hospital. As a Radiographer (Bank), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, working within the department, on the ward, and in theatre.
- Collaborate with leading practitioners to experience new practices, equipment, and facilities.
- As a clinical lead, you will have the opportunity to scope and develop policies and procedures.
- Supervise and develop more junior staff members.
- Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
- High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
- A caring nature, to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
- A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- A postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization.
- Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/or qualification are desirable.
- Post-registration experience relevant to the role.
- Excellent communication and team working abilities.
We offer a competitive hourly rate, up to £15.00 per hour dependent on experience. As a bank employee, you will have the flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis, with no guaranteed hours. However, we offer a range of benefits, including access to our pension scheme and discounted gym membership.
