Exciting Opportunity for a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at the South Pembrokeshire Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical expertise and strategic leadership to develop our mental health services and meet the population needs of Hywel Dda UHB.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership in General Adult Psychiatry
  • Develop and implement mental health services to meet population needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to research and education in mental health
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
  • MRCPsych or FRCPsych or other
  • Valid Certified Advanced Life Support Skills
  • Appropriate Higher Degree e.g. MD, PhD or MSc or equivalent
  • On Specialist Register with GMC or CCT due within 6 months of interview date
  • Or CESR or equivalent European Qualifications for Specialist Registration

  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary and multi-agency team and independently
