About the Role:
Join Randstad as a Mobile Facilities Maintenance Engineer, providing exceptional maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. Your role will encompass both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal functionality and safety of all facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold facilities to the established performance benchmarks.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance on equipment aligned with your core and supplementary skills.
- Deliver timely updates to the helpdesk regarding task progress and completion.
- Produce detailed technical documentation, including routine maintenance and incident reports.
- Identify and resolve issues across all mechanical and electrical systems within your expertise.
- Guarantee the safe operation of all machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Coordinate site visits by specialized subcontractors as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive asset histories, maintenance logs, and helpdesk records, and communicate any follow-up actions to the Administrator or Team Leader.
- Participate in an on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support for facilities.
About You:
To qualify for this position, you should possess:
- A recognized trade apprenticeship.
- Experience with electrical power distribution and lighting systems, including 18th Edition certification.
- City & Guilds NVQ in Servicing and Maintaining Air Conditioning.
- Familiarity with HVAC control systems and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- A valid Health & Safety Certificate.
- A full driving license.
- The ability to respond promptly and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility in work arrangements.
- The capability to deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines with minimal oversight.
