Senior Machine Learning Engineer

NearTech Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to drive predictive modeling efforts in the advertising sector. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will develop and optimize machine learning models using SQL, Python, and other relevant tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement machine learning models to enhance predictive accuracy and robustness.
  • Collaborate with the CTO and team members to deliver high-impact projects for clients.
  • Work with academic partners to contribute to research-driven initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure accurate and actionable insights.
  • Employ probabilistic modeling techniques to improve model performance.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in SQL and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with probabilistic modeling and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, and data engineering best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Interview Process:

  1. Initial Discussion: An introductory conversation with the CEO and CTO to assess fit.
  2. Technical Assessments: Two take-home tests—one in SQL and another in Python.
  3. Final Interview: A meeting with the team, either in-person or virtually, depending on location.
