We are currently seeking a committed Participation Officer to enhance our team in Beverley. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that children's voices are heard and play a significant part in shaping our services to enhance their well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive professional experience in childcare, preferably within the fostering sector
  • Relevant qualifications or formal training in applicable fields
  • Proven ability to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Competence in managing high-pressure situations and addressing challenging behaviors
  • Proficient IT skills and possession of a valid driving license
  • Preparedness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating engaging activities and workshops for children
  • Organizing family-oriented events and outings
  • Building robust relationships with colleagues and other professionals
  • Collaborating with education, health, and social service providers
  • Conducting assessments and maintaining comprehensive records
  • Adhering to professional standards, relevant legislation, and company policies
  • Offering guidance to families and supporting foster placements
