Job Title: Accounts Manager
Job Summary:
Cantia Search is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Accounts department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Accounts team, comprising 3 Accounts assistants, to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
- Oversee treasury management, including payment approvals and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process monthly payroll, including summarizing, checking, and paying payroll, as well as posting journals and paying CSA/other deductions of earnings.
- Process weekly timesheets, allocating costs to the correct projects.
- Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset register.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Create and manage projects within Sage 200, ensuring accurate contract values and contract budgets.
- Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns and issue monthly subcontractor statements.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance and regulation, specifically within CIS.
- Excellent IT and financial systems skills.
- Ability to work independently with supervision and guidance as required.
Industry Experience:
We are seeking a candidate with financial experience within an Engineering/Manufacturing/Construction background.
