In light of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking a knowledgeable Sales Engineer to join their team. This role involves managing the sales cycle for existing accounts while also identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. The company has experienced remarkable growth recently and enjoys a stellar reputation in its field. You will collaborate with industry leaders who prioritize outstanding customer service and product quality.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer:
- Engage with clients to assess their unique requirements, limitations, and operational goals, ensuring that proposals align with these specifications.
- Create comprehensive proposals detailing the costs associated with core equipment, installation, and any supplementary expenses.
- Represent the organization at significant industry events, trade exhibitions, and conferences.
- Design the necessary ancillary systems to ensure the complete functionality of mills, mixers, and other process engineering equipment at client locations.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to verify that all technical specifications and designs are practical and optimized for client operations.
- Responsible for identifying client requirements, drafting layouts, and compiling a thorough list of additional components needed beyond the primary machinery.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Proven sales experience in the capital equipment and engineering sectors.
- Knowledge and experience in chemical industry processes.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle for capital equipment manufacturing.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Solid knowledge of process systems.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary up to £45,000.
- Expected total earnings ranging from £55,000 to £70,000.
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Pension contributions matched by the employer.
- 25 days of annual leave, in addition to public holidays.
