As part of Vodafone Limited's Professional Services, the Project Manager position is client-facing and involves overseeing large, intricate projects, either independently or as part of broader programs, adhering to time, cost, and quality standards while following the established organizational delivery framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning & Control
Create comprehensive project plans that include all deliverables and ensure stakeholder engagement. Manage change control through appropriate processes.



Leadership, Communication & Stakeholder ManagementFoster and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, while clearly defining roles and responsibilities.

Financial OversightMaintain a project finance tracker and apply change control for cost variations from original baselines. Ensure WBS codes align with the project structure and are communicated to relevant stakeholders. Manage project billing milestones using designated management reporting tools. Understand the commercial implications of changes, including cost ownership, milestone status, project margin, and total contract value (TCV).



Project Governance & MethodologyAdhere to Vodafone's Project Delivery Framework methodology, which aligns with industry project management standards such as PRINCE2.



Risk & Issue Management


Establish and maintain a 'Risk and Issue' register, identifying new risks and responses, as well as mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.


Candidate Profile

  • Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent certification
  • Extensive proven experience in managing large and complex projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaborative skills to manage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in a diverse technology-focused project environment.
  • Background in a challenging client-facing service role and project environment.
  • Familiarity with Fixed Line Telecommunications Technologies (e.g., SDWAN, LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Cloud) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Please note, the ability to achieve and maintain Security Clearance (SC) is required for this role.
