About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the kitchen team, including recruiting, training, and supervising staff
  • Plan and prepare menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served to a high standard, meeting food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses, ensuring that we stay within budget
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
