Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current control system setups at client locations.
  • Develop input/output schedules and technical documentation.
  • Analyze client requirements and create software applications.
  • Perform feasibility assessments and establish control system specifications.
  • Design and implement SCADA systems for monitoring and managing renewable energy projects.
  • Engineer and program PLCs to automate operations and maximize energy efficiency.
  • Draft conceptual designs and specifications for control systems.
  • Complete design schemes and formulate User Requirements Specifications (URS).
  • Offer technical assistance during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, address technical inquiries, and validate design modifications.
  • Ensure compliance through site evaluations and participate in technical review sessions.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineering personnel.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in BMS design, particularly in renewable energy applications.
  • Extensive knowledge in the design and programming of SCADA systems and PLC controls.
  • Familiarity with BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Areas of Expertise:
  • Proficient in developing and programming SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling renewable energy systems within a Building Management Systems framework.
  • Skilled in designing and programming PLCs to automate processes and enhance energy efficiency in a Building Management Systems context.
  • Technical knowledge of combined heat and power (CHP), refrigeration, heat pumps, HVAC systems, boilers, biomass, solar energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or energy centers with mechanical installations.
