Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting long-distance or local deliveries
  • Handling palletized goods using a curtain-sided vehicle
  • Performing daily vehicle inspections
  • Completing manual entries for digital tachograph cards
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Undergoing an assessment prior to commencing work
  • Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times (safety boots and high-visibility clothing)


Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Possession of a valid HGV Class 2 license
  • A minimum of 6 months driving experience is required
  • Valid digital tachograph card
  • Current CPC certification
  • Clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points (excluding TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Shifts may vary, but we are seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers for daytime work, with shifts averaging between 10 to 12 hours in compliance with tachograph regulations.

Compensation: Daytime rates from Monday to Friday are set at £15.50 per hour.

Please note that holiday pay is calculated separately and is not included in the quoted rate.
