About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Banstead Road, supporting individuals with mild to moderate learning disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and independence of our customers, providing assistance with daily life tasks, escorting and supporting them in and around the service, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escort and support customers in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Support our Person-Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records.
Requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility and creativity in working with customers and their families.
  • Personal care experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.
