Consultant Psychiatrist in Epping Forest Specialist Community Mental Health Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our West Epping Specialist Community Mental Health Team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Attend regular multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and support ongoing care of patients.
- Provide regular clinics to review patients via the Care Programme Approach.
- Offer flexible emergency medical support for the team's patients.
- Support patients under the Mental Health Act and the processes required under the Act.
- Supervise and support specialty doctors and trainee doctors.
- Collaborate with primary care services.
- Liaise with other services within the organization and outside to optimize patient care.
- Hold a valid UK driving license or provide evidence of proposed alternative.
- Be fully registered with the General Medical Council with a license to practice at the time of appointment.
- Be included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months.
- Have approved clinician status or be able to achieve within three months of appointment.
- Have approved under Section 12 or be able to achieve within three months of appointment.
- Hold a postgraduate degree in psychiatry or equivalent.
- Have a qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
- Have MRCPsych or equivalent.
