About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supported Living Worker to join our team in St Helens. As a Supported Living Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to Service Users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work from person-centred support plans, risk assessments, and promote person-centred planning.
  • Support Service Users with direct personal care, using safer people handling equipment where assessed.
  • Manage challenging behaviour by following risk assessments and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multi-agency approach to promote positive behaviour management.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with adults or children with a learning disability.
  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins, waking nights, and weekend working.
  • Driver with a driving license (advantageous but not essential).

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.59 to £12.80 per hour.
