About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Platform Developer to join our team at Sanderson. As a Senior Power Platform Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing custom applications and workflows that use the Power Platform suite to address business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Power Platform Solutions: Collaborate with business units to comprehend their challenges and create effective solutions using the Power Platform suite.
  • Develop and Configure Power Apps: Develop, configure, and customize Power Pages, Power Automate processes, Power Apps, and their related components.
  • Implement and Test Solutions: Develop and implement plans for unit and system testing, following formal change control processes.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Serve as a trusted adviser for PowerApps and PowerAutomate, providing best practice and learning to the team.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions.
  • Integrate Power Platform Solutions: Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.

Requirements:

  • Power Platform Experience: Demonstrated skill in creating Power Platform solutions through all phases of the SDLC and service transition.
  • Microsoft Power Apps Experience: Practical experience in Canvas Apps and model-driven applications.
  • Data Modelling Experience: Knowledge of dataverse and data modelling principles.
  • Agile Development Experience: Experience working in Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver value incrementally.
  • Insurance Industry Experience: Demonstrable experience of working in the Lloyds Insurance market with the ability to understand core insurance processes and terminology.
