Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Technician to join our team at Human Engineering, working on a permanent basis in the offshore, ports, and shipping industry. As a Crane Technician, you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment, both onshore and offshore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission and maintain client cranes and lifting equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct regular inspections and servicing of cranes and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on a range of electrical equipment and systems, including hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Carry out fault finding and repairs of hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Rigging and lift planning to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Minimize environmental risks and ensure all available controls are utilized when working offshore.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice served in Electrical engineering, Hydraulic engineering, or Mechanical engineering.
  • UK driving license.
  • Experience working with marine engineering applications.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance on offshore cranes.
  • Commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems.
