Job Introduction

We are Eden Futures, a leading provider of exceptional support services for individuals with learning or physical disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism, or mental illness.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our Supported Living Services team in Heanor. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and support to the local team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of our service users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with experience in managing teams and developing services. You will be responsible for ensuring that all service users receive person-centered care and support, and that our services are delivered in a way that promotes their independence and well-being.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality services to service users.
  • Develop and implement service plans that meet the needs of service users and promote their independence and well-being.
  • Ensure that all service users receive person-centered care and support, and that our services are delivered in a way that promotes their dignity and respect.
  • Work closely with the training team to ensure that all staff receive the necessary training and development to deliver high-quality services.
  • Recruit and select new staff, and ensure that they are properly inducted into the service.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of services, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with Eden Futures' policies and procedures, and that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and accountabilities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and developing services.
  • Experience in health and social care, with a strong understanding of the needs of service users.
  • Ability to develop and implement service plans that meet the needs of service users and promote their independence and well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, service users, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
