Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our financial services department, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient and effective accounts receivable service, ensuring the timely recovery of various types of debt and contributing to the overall management and delivery of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Accounts Receivable Service: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all accounts are processed in a timely and accurate manner, meeting or exceeding service levels and key performance indicators.
  • Debt Recovery: Take ownership of the recovery of sundry and leasehold income, including major works debt, care debt, and former tenant arrears, utilizing your expertise and knowledge of financial systems and processes.
  • Referral and Liaison: Handle referrals and liaise with solicitors for the legal recovery of income, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Team Support: Assist Senior Officers in the day-to-day management and delivery of the Accounts Receivable service, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Professional Development: Maintain a high level of professionalism and self-motivation, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the delivery of exceptional results.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in sundry and leasehold income recovery, handling simple to complex enquiries, and utilizing financial systems and processes.
  • Skills: Excellent numerical and communication skills, with a focus on customer service, and the ability to manage a high volume of work within tight deadlines.
  • Qualifications: Familiarity with Business World On (UNIT 4 ERP) and OHMS (housing management system) is preferred, as well as proficiency in all office applications.
