Job Title: Risk Analyst

This Fortune-100, Nasdaq-listed company, StoneX, is seeking a Risk Analyst to join their team and support the institutional business in expanding its offering and implementing risk procedures and policies around the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor Counterparty Credit Risk and Market Risk exposures originating from the Securities business area.
  • Perform analysis of client and firm portfolios to ensure risk factors fit within the firm's appetite levels.
  • Communicate risk of positions and ensure they are within risk appetite levels.
  • Streamline workflows, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Lead market risk on new business initiatives and implement appropriate Risk frameworks.
  • Update relevant documentation including internal Risk procedures.

Requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Solid experience managing risks in Securities Financing business.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate across all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a broader risk team.
  • Strong organizational skills, interest in fast-paced environments.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong IT skills for data analysis, experience with MS Excel, SQL or Python.
  • Understanding of market risk concepts and margining rules.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education:

Bachelor's degree
