About the Role

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team at Jubilee School, part of Acorn Education. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will play a vital role in helping our pupils achieve their full educational potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to pupils with SEMH challenges and additional complex behaviours.
  • Use assessment to diagnose learners' needs, set realistic targets, and plan future teaching.
  • Develop and maintain high expectations of young people, ensuring they can achieve their full educational potential.
  • Contribute to the wider curriculum through sports, arts, music, drama, and other enrichment activities.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour due to ASD or SEMH needs.
