An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Lead Quantity Surveyor to work with a prominent international contractor recognized for executing significant rail and highway infrastructure initiatives in challenging environments.

The successful candidate will be engaged in a major visual impact provision project, focusing on the removal of overhead power lines and their relocation into an underground tunnel, thereby enhancing the natural landscape.


This role presents a chance to contribute to a substantial project that promises long-term employment stability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance commercial acumen to actively support the financial success of the organization.
  • Prepare independent sections of applications and reports.
  • Assess incoming accounts and correspondence, responding appropriately.
  • Oversee designated subcontract accounts and assist senior commercial personnel in negotiations.
  • Establish a personal development plan and achieve set objectives.
  • Aid in the growth and development of junior staff.
  • Execute commercial tasks and present findings in a clear and precise manner.
  • The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
  • Preferably qualified or working towards CICES or RICS accreditation.
  • A valid CSCS Card.
  • Significant commercial experience within the construction sector.
  • Proficient command of both oral and written English.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the NEC suite of contracts.
  • Strong IT capabilities, particularly in MS Office.

Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary range: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum
