As a Senior Finance Manager, you will possess robust technical accounting skills, along with expertise in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting financial data. Your leadership capabilities will be essential in guiding a proficient team of finance professionals.

You are expected to hold the necessary qualifications and certifications, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.


In this pivotal role, you will have a broad scope of responsibilities that are crucial to the financial health and growth of the organization.

Your professional acumen will enable you to take charge of financial strategies, assessments, and cost-saving initiatives.


As the Senior Finance Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive tasks performed by the finance department, while establishing objectives and assisting other divisions in developing and managing their budgets. Therefore, it is imperative that you can harmonize key technical, statistical, and numerical skills with your managerial duties.


In this position, you will supervise the upkeep of all financial systems, while pinpointing areas for enhancement and executing necessary modifications to foster business advancement.

You will also play a vital role in educating and guiding non-financial personnel to uphold high financial standards.


Your analytical and problem-solving abilities will be instrumental in managing financial accounting systems, conducting research, and reporting on elements critical to business performance.

You must be adept at leading the finance team to ensure the smooth operation of the company's daily financial responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Developing and overseeing the execution of internal financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting frameworks.
  • Managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers.
  • Contributing significantly to the company's financial strategy and decision-making processes.
  • Analyzing, preparing, and presenting monthly and quarterly financial, budgeting, and forecasting reports, and communicating your findings to the board.
  • Leading the comprehensive audit process of existing systems, while serving as a liaison for external auditors.
  • Assuming overall responsibility for managing financial details to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Mentoring, managing, and motivating the finance team.
  • Reviewing financial reports and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Identifying expansion opportunities and maximizing profits through market trend analysis.
  • Proposing solutions to identified risks and effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Leading team members responsible for accounting, payroll, VAT, and HMRC processes.
  • Supervising research into factors affecting business performance and reporting on these findings.
  • Controlling the preparation and interpretation of statutory accounts and presenting your insights.
  • Driving the continuous enhancement of end-to-end accounting practices.
